Lisa from BLACKPINK is making waves once again, this time with her poignant new short film music video, “Dreams.” The five-minute cinematic journey, which explores themes of love and loss, features Lisa as a grieving widow alongside Japanese actor Canaro Sakaguchi. Their heartfelt performances have struck a chord with fans, many of whom have shared their own emotional stories in response.

The music video has skyrocketed to success, currently sitting at the top of YouTube’s trending list with over 6 million views within its first day. This impressive debut marks it as the highest for a short film this year. In a recent appearance on Japan’s morning show “Ohio Asahid Desu,” Canaro praised Lisa’s down-to-earth personality, highlighting how their off-camera chats fostered a strong connection that translated beautifully on screen. Lisa reciprocated the admiration, noting Canaro’s remarkable ability to convey emotion, and expressed her eagerness to collaborate with him again.
After a brief escape to Capri, Lisa has returned to London, where she’s been busy preparing for BLACKPINK’s highly anticipated concert at Wembley Stadium. On August 15th, she was spotted in the city with Luke Golf, the founder of Thailand’s popular English tutorial school, Ankrris, as they filmed a walking challenge. Lisa took to Instagram to share snapshots from her delightful day in London, looking chic in an Acne Studios sweater and loose jeans, complemented by a Blackpink cap.

During her outing, she and a friend visited the Dreary, an ice cream and wine bar, before grabbing a coconut blue matcha from Hay Tea. They later explored the South Bank Center, home to the renowned Hayward Gallery, showcasing some of the UK’s best contemporary art.
Meanwhile, fellow BLACKPINK member Jennie has also been spotted enjoying her time in Europe, reportedly attending a DJ set by Diplo and mingling with notable artists like Calvin Harris and Maggie Lindemann. Though Rosé and Jisoo have kept a lower profile, all four members are gearing up for their monumental performance.

Fans are already lining up at the pop-up store in anticipation of the concert, set to take place at 4:00 a.m. KST on August 16th. This historic event will see BLACKPINK become the first foreign girl group to grace the iconic Wembley Stadium stage, joining the ranks of the Spice Girls as one of the few girl groups to headline there.
